Underground Coal Gasification Queensland, Australia

Liberty Resources is focussed on the commercial deployment of Underground Coal Gasification Projects (UCG) in Queensland.
 
Liberty has a total land holding of approximately 30,000 km2 in the Galilee, Surat and Denison Basins in Queensland. An exploration target has been estimated at 280 – 350 Billion tonnes (Bt) of coal, including an inferred resource of 3.2 Bt.

Figure 1 shows Liberty’s land holding and identifies the tenements under Heads of Agreement with Carbon Energy in the Galilee Basin, and Clean Global Energy in the Surat Basin.
